Jamaican Style Pepper Shrimp ??
You will not find a better classic shrimp recipe better than Jamaican style pepper shrimp. Dive in and recreate this recipe yourself.

- 1 Ib Shrimp
- 2-3 Stalks Scallion
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Onion
- 14 Crushed Pimento Seeds
- 2-3 Scotch Bonnet Peppers
- 1 tsp Thyme Leaves
- 1 tbsp Red Food Coloring
- 1 tsp Complete Seasoning
- 1 tbsp All Purpose Seasoning
- 1 Pinch Salt
- 2-3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
Dice and set aside all seasonings.
Clean and rinse shrimp with vinegar and water or lime and water.
Add powdered seasoning and fresh seasonings to shrimp, mix to combine and allow to marinate overnight or for 30 minutes the least.
Heat oil, and add seasoned shrimp. Allow shrimp pieces to cook until they change color.
Add butter, some food coloring and about a 1/2 - 1 cup of water.
Allow to simmer. The total cook time is approx. 10-15 minutes. Check on your shrimp every 1-2 or 2-3 minutes until done. Add more food coloring or seasoning to your liking throughout the cooking process.
Once cooked, remove from heat and allow to cool for 10 - 15 minutes. SERVE & ENJOY!
