I may be speaking from an anecdotal experience, but everyone I know has at a minimum, some type of cast iron set. The price tag varies based on quality, but foodies on all levels consider cast iron to be an investment. We will dive into this later! I will not be biased as I have also provided disadvantages. In my opinion the positive outweighs the negative, but I will allow you to make your own decision.
