I Hate to Cook, What Do I Do?

If you are one of those people that hate to cook or walk in the kitchen to do anything besides eating, no need to worry as you are not alone. Do you ever ask yourself, “Why don’t I like to cook”? You’ll be surprised as to why you struggle in the kitchen. It may be a combination of how you were raised, the influences around you, or lack of confidence. We got you covered as this post was created to give you tips if you hate to cook. I am confident after reading, you’ll develop many ways on how to enjoy cooking. You will be pleasantly surprised that the idea of you being bad may not have to deal with the entirety in the act itself.

Why Don’t I Like to Cook?

The idea of you not liking to cook may be more of mental block instead of the physical action. I mean if you enjoy eating then we need to look deeper at how to enjoy cooking. Here are three common reasons why you hate to cook.

First, it may stem from you being blessed from childhood. If you grew up with a parent or grandparents who love to cook, then you may have not any need to step in the kitchen. This is a blessing to have but definitely puts a hinderance on your cooking skills

The second reason is that you have limited time to actually prepare a nice meal. If you are always on the go or just have a busy life, you will tend to rely on quick meals or fast food. Although these are alternative options, you tend to miss out on great hearty meals. You’ll notice the difference on special holidays or dinner parties where food helps bring friends and family together.

The third and final reason tends to be common with all foodies. Nobody enjoys the clean up! I do not believe I need to go much further in explaining why no one likes cleaning up. Now that you have an understanding of why you may not enjoy it, check out our tips if you hate to cook.
